kyoshi is operated by Gaurav Jain, an individual based in Singapore ("we," "us"). These terms cover your use of kyoshi. By creating an account, you agree to them.
kyoshi is an AI-based leadership coaching product — Learn (frameworks and skills), chat, Practice (role play), and Apply (working through real situations). kyoshi is not a substitute for professional advice — not legal, medical, financial, or mental-health advice, and not a licensed coach or therapist. Its responses are generated by AI and can be wrong, incomplete, or not appropriate for your specific situation. Use your own judgment, especially for anything high-stakes.
You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use kyoshi. You're responsible for keeping your password secure and for what happens under your account.
kyoshi offers a Free plan and two paid plans, Plus and Pro, each with their own monthly price and usage limits (see the Pricing section for current details — introductory pricing may be lower than eventual list price and isn't guaranteed to stay at that rate forever).
Pro's quizzes, conversations, situations, and Practice sessions are listed as "Unlimited." That means what it says for real, everyday use by one person working through their own leadership questions — there's no hidden monthly cap, and we're not counting down toward one. It isn't a synonym for "very high but secretly capped."
It's also not literally infinite in a way that covers everything imaginable. "Unlimited" doesn't cover, for example, running kyoshi as a backend for another product or service, sharing or reselling a single account's access to other people, or automated/scripted use designed to generate volume no individual person would ever produce by actually using the product. If an account's usage looks like one of these rather than one person coaching themselves through real situations, we may reach out, ask about it, or in clear cases limit or suspend the account — the same as most "unlimited" plans you've probably already used elsewhere.
None of this is about how much you use kyoshi for your own leadership development — use it as often and for as long as that actually takes.
Please don't:
We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate this.
What you write into kyoshi is yours. By using kyoshi, you give us permission to process it as needed to run the service — including sending it to the third-party providers described in our Privacy Policy (Anthropic, for example, to generate a response to your message). We don't use your content to train our own models, and we don't sell it.
The frameworks, Learn content, and everything else kyoshi provides (outside of what you personally write) belongs to us. You're welcome to use it for your own leadership development — please don't republish or resell it.
You can stop using kyoshi and cancel your subscription anytime. We can suspend or terminate your account for violating these terms, or discontinue the service entirely — if we do the latter, we'll try to give reasonable notice.
kyoshi is provided "as is." We don't guarantee it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that its advice will produce any particular outcome. To the extent the law allows, our liability to you for anything related to kyoshi is limited to the amount you've paid us in the past 12 months (or, if you're on the Free plan, a nominal amount).
If we make a meaningful change, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use kyoshi after a change means you accept the update.
